ApB was founded in 2016 by Anh Nguyen after leaving his job of nearly a decade as a project manager / construction manager on multi-million dollar institutional projects. ApB has in the short span of time, completed whole house renovations, building additions, ADU’s, kitchen and bath remodels, dry rot removal & structural repairs, a seismic retrofit and development and renovation of a 10-unit apartment complex.

ApB’s high quality craftsmanship and best value approach has been in high demand, most of our customers are loyal repeats or by word of mouth. We would, nevertheless surely enjoy talking to you about future ideas and vision.

ApB has over 10 years of experience as a professional construction manager on projects in the upwards of $750MM, down to $30k roofing projects. ApB also currently holds a contract to provide construction management services for the City of Berkeley.

PRINCIPAL - ANH NGUYEN

Working with his hands - designing and building - has been a lifelong passion for Anh. In his youth, he loved to spend time with a mentor who was a carpentry foreman, learning the craft and acquiring the skills.

At the age of 10, he designed and built his own house expansion for his parents. Since then, Anh has been involved in many hands-on build projects ranging from custom furniture pieces to the design and construction of multi-million-dollar institutional complexes.

Anh has a deep passion for quality workmanship and a strong affinity for aesthetics. He holds both a Master in Architecture and Master in Urban Planning degrees from UC Berkeley, and has been working in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2004.
